Licensed Child Care

Creative, stimulating, and safe childcare options are available.

EYET operates three licensed child care centres for children, ranging from Toddler to School-age, depending on the centre. Our child care centres provide a caring, stimulating and creative environment where children can experience growth – physically, emotionally, socially and intellectually.

Annie’s Place, Tom’s Place, and Crescent Town School provide a positive and nurturing environment that fosters self-confidence, self-respect and a feeling of security. At EYET, we promote the family’s well-being as a key to each child’s healthy development, we accept every child for who they are – their strengths and challenges – and respect their individuality.

Our centres implement an emergent curriculum approach to early learning, which follows the lead of the child and focuses on observation, inquiry, exploration and experimentation through play-based learning experiences, planning for all curriculum areas and experiences that are designed with learning objectives in mind, and are reflective of the children’s emerging interests and continuum of development. We believe that each child is an individual, is unique and brings value to the program. We aim to support all children to reach their full potential.

Parents/Guardians are considered partners, and they are the experts on their child’s developmental growth and well-being. Their valuable expertise plays an integral role in our program development and delivery. At our centres, we encourage parents to share their ideas, wisdom, and concerns and express their needs for us related to the care and education of their child.

EYET Licensed Child Care does accept the Child Care Fee Subsidy from the City of Toronto. Please click here to find out how to register.
