EarlyON  Outdoor Active Play Drop-In

EarlyON – Drop-In Outdoor Active Play. This program promotes physical activities also known as fundamental movement skills, like crawling, throwing, running, jumping, hopping, catching, stretching and more. Please note that this may be cancelled due to weather. In such cases please join us for an indoor drop in at the EarlyON Centre.

Reading Circle

Join us at the end of our EarlyOn drop-in for an extra special circle time with ready, rhymes and songs to promote early literacy.

Our goal is to support and promote early literacy and reading. We welcome families to join us on Wednesdays from 3:00-4:00 pm. Please join us for a song and storytime at 3:45 pm.  No Registration required.  Adults with children only, please.

Healthy Child Check-In

November 19 and 26, 2019

This is a pre-registered program come and visit our Healthy Child Check-In and meet with different professionals to talk about your questions. To register please call 647-258-9784

Join us for a toddler specific play time geared towards your little movers and shakers. Age appropriate toys and activities will help your little one move, grow and explore in a safe environment.

Wednesday Walks

April 3 – November 27, 2019

9:10 am – 9:30 am

Birth to 6 years

Join us every Wednesday as we take a walk in the neighbourhood. Take part in exploring and learning about our surroundings. We leave the centre at 9:10 am and return close to 9:30 am.

Cancelling our weekly walks will be based on weather conditions and EarlyOn staff discretions. Please speak with staff for more details.

Play It Up!

This program is designed for children 18 months to 2.5 years whose parents have concerns about their child’s language development and families whoa re on the wait list for Early Abilities. You and your child will participate together in fun, easy experiences to promote your child’s language development and literacy skills. This is a pre-registered program.

  • Search for affordable private market rental housing
  • Identify and apply to various types of housing such as emergency shelter and subsidized, supportive and transitional housing programs
  • Assist with apply for a variety of different financial support programs such as Rent Bank, Ontario Electricity Support Program (OESP) and Low-Income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP) and countless other programs
  • Work with you to solve problems with your landlord
  • Tell you what you need to know as a tenant
