Block Play: With technology advancing at such a fast pace and society focusing on children learning technology at an earlier age, we need to remember that before we can use technology, we need to build developing functional skills.  Playing with blocks is a great way for children to learn math, science and problem solving skills. This article will help to demonstrate the importance of block play among children.

Developmental Domain Activities Series 4 –Children learn to master different developmental domains daily. Please find attached the second set of activity cards that you can print and play with your children at home. Please remember that every child develops at a different rate and each activity can be altered to meet the current stage of your child’s development.

Service Mapping for Client Referrals – Community Conversation: 

The ongoing Covid-19 pandemic has caused significant shifts in the ways our agencies are able to offer services. These shifts have meant that referring clients to services poses a challenge: we don’t always know what services are still available, or how things have changed.

Join EYET for a collaborative mapping of community services as we share strategies and knowledge about ongoing changes to social supports.  We will collaboratively discuss: 

• What services are your agencies continuing to offer? How have they changed? 
• What new services exist to meet shifting needs of clients during the pandemic? 
• What community resources are currently available for referrals? 
• What community services are missing for your clients?
