Eviction Prevention amid the COVID-19 pandemic
Community Conversation: Eviction Prevention amid the COVID-19 pandemic
Helping clients prevent or avoid evictions is a complicated task, and the COVID-19 pandemic has made it more complex. With the emergency evictions ban about to end, how are housing professionals strategically preparing to support clients through the anticipated influx of evictions? How will clients need to prepare, if evicted? How can housing professionals help their clients to create rent arrears repayment plans?
Join EYET as we facilitate a community conversation, for housing professionals, to share skills and discuss this issue. This event will take place online to discuss:
- How are housing professionals currently helping clients to prepare for evictions?
- What will the eviction process look like once the emergency order is lifted?
- How are housing professionals preparing for the potentially high volumes of evictions?
- How can housing professionals support clients to make repayment plans?
