Mental Health Awareness
Mental Health Awareness in Housing Services
This 2-part webinar will focus on improving participants’ awareness of mental illness along with providing practical approaches for working with clients who might be facing these types of challenges. During the session, participants will review signs and symptoms commonly present with certain mental illnesses with the purpose of identification for more effective response. Participants will review best practice approaches for tactfully managing client interactions and engage in discussion about mental health services and the benefits of setting expectations for successful service provision.
This workshop requires participants to complete a pre-workshop assignment. We will be asking participants to make a list of mental health services prior to attending the workshop.
