EYET’s Landlord Engagement Network for Eviction Prevention will be hosting a virtual workshop on Landlord & Tenant Board (LTB) Mediation
Join EYET as we invite Karly Wilson, staff lawyer at Don Valley Community Legal Services, to support our understanding about LTB Mediation and the LTB’s new Portal.
Overview and Outcomes:
This workshop will cover:
- What is mediation and the risks and benefits of mediating at the Landlord and Tenant Board
- How to prepare for mediation
Guest Presenter Information:
Karly Wilson is a housing lawyer at Don Valley Community Legal Services. She got her start in housing representing non-profit landlords and housing co-operatives. She then moved to tenant-side advocacy, working first at CERA, the Centre for Equality Rights and Accommodation, before joining the housing team Don Valley Community Legal Services in 2021. She now represents tenants facing eviction at the Landlord and Tenant Board.
