Best Practices Series –  Temporary & Fixed Housing Types

During this 2-part virtual workshop, participants will review a diverse range of temporary and fixed housing types with the purpose of providing clients who are seeking housing with more informed options.  

Part one focuses on temporary housing types, including of shelters and transitional housing. This session will describe how each type of housing works, and how to help clients access, live in, and/or leave these arrangements.  

Part two will focus on permanent housing options, such as supportive housing and private market rental housing. It will describe what permanent housing options currently exist for housing services clients and how to go about accessing them.  

Participants are invited to engage with these topics during interactive and collaborative sessions. 

Eligibility: You must be employed by an agency or organization within Toronto 

Cost: $90/per participant 

Date & Time:  Part I – Wednesday, March 23, 2022, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm & Part II – Wednesday, March 30, 2022, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm

This is a virtual event taking place on Zoom. Limited spots are available.
