East York Healthy Beginnings for Healthy Babies

If you are pregnant and looking for services, The East York Healthy Beginnings for Healthy Babies program (EYHBHB) provides information, education and welcoming support to pregnant individuals.

Weekly workshops include:

  • Nutritious snacks
  • Workshops and discussions about how to have a healthy baby
  • Prenatal information
  • Nutritional information and resources
  • One-on-one appointments with a Public Health Nurse and Dietitian
  • Breastfeeding support
  • The opportunity to connect with other individuals in your community!

Program Partners Include:

  • The Neighbourhood Group-St. Stephen’s Community House (TNG) – The Perinatal Settlement Program assists pregnant and postnatal moms with their transition to life in Canada and their new baby. TNG provides information on community and government resources, (childcare, housing, financial assistance etc) ensuring that people get connected with the supports they need to succeed.TNG does this through individual support and group information sessions.
