EYET’s Best Practice Series (BPS) Workshop:
Housing & Homelessness: Approaches to Women & Gender-Based Violence
Join us for a BPS on Housing & Homelessness: Approaches to Women & Gender-Based Violence on September 25th!
During this in-person training session, participants will consider the unique challenges facing women with experience of gender-based violence (GBV). Women’s homelessness is often hidden and therefore not included or formally recognized by homeless reduction programs. Participants attending this session will get a closer look at Special Priority Housing and how best to assist a client through that process. We will also consider other types of housing that might help to bridge a woman’s decision to start over. Participants of this workshop will hear from a panel of speakers representing organizations that work with survivors of gender-based violence (GBV).
Participants are invited to engage with these topics during an interactive and collaborative session.
Eligibility: You must be employed by an agency or organization within Toronto
Cost: NEW! The cost of attending this workshop is $90 per participant plus 13% HST. Also, our registration procedure has been updated recently. Please read the new registration form carefully.
